Designate an attack

  • Gun run: press and drag on the battlefield to set a heading, then release. Gun ammunition is unlimited, but the aircraft needs time to reattack.
  • Maverick: select the missile and tap an enemy vehicle to lock on. A valid attack spends one missile.
  • Mk-82: select bombs and tap a point. The wide blast can damage friendly positions.
  • Aim saved: a gun designation made during cooldown launches automatically when the aircraft is ready. Use Cancel to clear it.

Requisitions

After waves one through five, spend earned supply on allied-force and aircraft upgrades, ammunition, and repairs. Each item shows the effect and cost before purchase. Upgrades apply to the current sortie; starting a new sortie starts again with infantry. Supply cannot be bought with real money.

Saved sorties

Continue returns to your last Requisitions screen, preserving completed purchases. If the app closed during combat, it restarts that wave from the beginning, paused, with its starting resources. Backgrounding the app pauses the live battle while it remains in memory.

Choose among three independent local save slots in Sortie Files on the main menu. Save & Main Menu preserves progress from the briefing, wave results, and Requisitions. Completing or aborting a sortie clears only its selected slot. Replacing an existing sortie requires confirmation. Saves from earlier versions appear in Slot 1. There is no game-managed cloud synchronization.

If a save fails, free some device storage and use Retry. Avoid deleting the app to troubleshoot a save you want to keep, because deletion removes local progress.

Sound and interruptions

Check the game’s sound setting in Settings or on the pause screen, device volume, Silent Mode, and Bluetooth audio output. Returning from another app leaves the sortie paused; choose Resume when ready.
